T. Scott Lilly resides in his native home, Brooklyn. He is an actor, director, composer and musician who has performed in numerous off-off Broadway venues and cabarets. As a member of the (Michael) Chekhov Theater Ensemble, Scott has performed in seven productions, including: the title role in Cyrano, Sganerelle in Don Juan, The Magus in Between Worlds, Talthybius in Trojan Women, and the title role in Macbeth. He co-wrote/adapted and directed The Poe Project with CTE, which was performed at Theater for the New City. As a Teaching Artist, Scott has worked for Community-Word Project, Urban Arts Partnership, Making Books Sing, Enact, Stages of Learning, American Globe Theatre and Creative Theatrics Theater Camp. In the '90s, Scott worked at Fordham University School of Law as Assistant Director of Academic Programs, where he helped mount lectures, seminars and conferences. Prior to Fordham, he built rooftop gardens for seven years with Keith Corlett. Scott is married and has two daughters currently attending college. Scott and his wife, Sarah, created and performed children's shows and workshops for the New York Public Library. He attended Brooklyn College for 2 years as a Music Major and Neighborhood Playhouse for one year. Scott is a member of Actor's Equity and the Screen Actor's Guild. He plays piano, guitar and trumpet, and has written over thirty songs for children. Scott co-wrote three musicals: Josh, performed at the Heights Players; Angelina's Pizzeria; and Benny's Barbershop, performed at Theater for the New City.
