Jason is an Executive Director in the Legal and Compliance Division at Morgan Stanley where he advises the Institutional Securities business. He was previously a Vice President and Assistant General Counsel in the Legal Department at JPMorgan Chase & Co. Prior to his work in the private sector, Jason was Chief Oversight Counsel for the Committee on Financial Services in the U.S. House of Representatives. He holds a B.S. from Drexel University, and an M.A. and J.D. from Fordham University. Jason enjoys volunteering with various organizations in the NY/NJ area and is an ambassador for the National Museum of African American History and Culture in DC. He lives in Brooklyn with his lovely wife and daughter who is a NYC public school student. Jason understands the positive impact that the arts and literacy can have on the lives of students, families, and communities; is honored to work with the teaching artists and staff; and is inspired by both the mission and achievements of the Community-Word Project.
